Holidays abroad seeing the sites of the USA

Each year millions of people choose the USA to be their travel destination of choice.

If you've been trying to decide where to spend your next holiday you may be wondering what they see when they arrive. Here are some of the hot spots you should consider.

Lets start in the "Big Apple," of New York City. New York is home to some wonderful attractions, and is truly a place with something for everybody. You can catch a Broadway show, visit the Met Art Gallery, or take advantage of some amazing shopping especially with the Pound to Dollar exchange rate making everything less than half price!

If you don't want the hustle and bustle of city life, then take a trip further north and visit Niagara Falls. As with many US hotspots, the New York area allows you to mix big city fun and quiet country living with just a few hours in the car.

Further south you can visit the house of the most famous mouse in the world, Mickey. If you are thinking of bringing the grandchildren, or are simply a child at heart, then Orlando, Florida is the place for you. With Disney, Universal Studios, and Sea World all right here, there are more theme parks clustered around the greater Orlando area then anywhere else in the world. And again, nature is waiting to wow you since you are just one quick drive away from some very beautiful beaches.

What about West life? You might what to stop by the Grand Canyon, hit the Colorado slopes, or maybe Las Vegas is more to your liking. No matter what, we are sure that you can find at least one stop to tempt you on your way to the west coast. When you do finally make it all the way to star studded L.A., make sure that you see the Hollywood sign. You can also take a studio tour, visit the Chinese Theater, or strut your stuff on Rodeo Drive.

As far as the Pacific goes how about the two crown jewels of American holidays, Alaska and Hawaii. These are two beautiful landscapes that are as different as night and day. If you want a beautiful tropical paradise, then head to Hawaii. These gorgeous islands are home to pineapple plantations, active volcanoes, white sand beaches, and a plethora of aquatic wild life. Plan your trip during the right season and you can add whale watching to your list of activities.

The beach is nice, but to some people nothing can top the majestic glory of the Alaskan landscape. Alaska is home to the largest mountain in North America, Mt. McKinley. If you like the outdoors then you are going to love the camping, hiking, sight seeing, and fishing that Alaska has to offer you. Or, if you prefer your creature comforts why not see the snow and ice of Alaska from the comfort of a cruise ship?

Holidays are as different as the people who take them. And no matter what it is that you are searching for, the USA has it ready and waiting.
